Embarking on journey from the bustling Mumbai to the serene Ratnagiri, the India Rush SC U17 Girls supported by JB Pharma gained invaluable experience at the Devangiri Womens Football ’24 Tournament.
In a captivating journey, the India Rush SC U17 Girls' shared prayers, meals, and laughter, transitioning throughout the 6 days. The tournament featuring teams from three states and six districts, offered a unique exposure for the holistic growth.
The 11 member team with no subs was up for the upcoming challenges. With resilience, the team drew the first match and the same evening had a close loss in the second match. The team physiotherapist Dr. Uditi played a crucial role in keeping the players match-ready, especially after a challenging encounter that left two players with heatstroke. The final pool match on the next day witnessed a remarkable victory, earning accolades for standout players Nikita and Sidhi, securing the well-deserved Player of the Match titles. Each of the 11 players clocked 180 mins of incredible playtime in 48 hrs, experiencing a win, a draw and a loss.
As the journey concluded on the 6th day, the team returned with strengthened bonds, newfound friends, and invaluable experience. India Rush SC, committed to player development, stood true to its promise of "more touches, more matches."
