India Rush Soccer Club

The mood in the India Rush SC corner at the MDFA YPL awards night was one of Joy and Celebration and rightly so. The Class of 2019 achieved the best haul, a total of 29 team and individual awards out of the 200+ teams in the fray, joining the league of Super achievers.
 
The Joy of achieving the goal, especially as a team after a long and arduous journey is extra special and it sure lasts a lifetime. Moments like these become the cornerstone, which keeps motivating through self-belief and the zing of fulfillment. It was an electric evening, with Lights, Music and the works, the players and parents breaking out into impromptu dance and the air filled with chants of We are, We are, We are RUSH. 
 
Few teams reach the Knock Out round and only four teams reach the podium finish. It was a stupendous effort by the players and the club that enabled 7 out of 8 India Rush SC teams to reach the final stage out of the 40 to 60 teams in each age group. The four-month-long league tested the player’s technical, physical, mental and social preparedness, getting a tougher as they reached the final stage. Each player went through wade of emotional upheaval with every win, loss and close encounter, building up their Emotional Quotient, a prized quality to possess in the fast-changing world. 
 
Every success comes at a price. The success of each player is backed by the sacrifices made by their parents with a desire for their Child's happiness, Well being, and Success by offering the best available. The financial support, managing time for taking their child for practice and matches is certainly huge asks, especially if both parents are working. We respect this spirit of parenthood and dedicate the MDFA YPF U14 Runners Up award to Mr. Randal Vessaoker, an exemplary parent of our player Nathan, who passed away just before the finals. He will be remembered not only as a Father who worked hard to give the best for his son but also to the community, doing so with a zest and spreading happiness with his infectious smile. May God keep him and his family Blessed.
