A point almost in the pocket against RYFC would have made IRSC the 1st team this season to do so. RYFC boasts of a dedicated high-performance residential program for the best talent scouted from across India. It's a no mean fete for IRSC, which believes in grooming available talent and not just the best while releasing the best-groomed players to ISL, ILeague Clubs and RYFC. Even this season, IRSC released one of its best players Abel Fernandes to Mumbai City FC similar to the release of Johnathan to Goa FC in the previous season.
While not taking any credit away from RYFC program or the team, the point we are trying to make is that the Youth League is a perfect platform for the players and coaches to develop and progress towards their aspiration to become a Pro Player.
An established player development philosophy is the foundation of consistent performance and more importantly a well-rounded growth for all players in the team and not just the 1st playing 11 or 14.
